Computer to Plate

Plates are engraved onto a sheet of aluminium using a laser, this is called CTP or computer to plate technology. Back in the day, it would have been CTF- or computer to film, a similarly photographic process. These plates are then coated with ink, ready to go #onpress #photobooks
